14 days after the embryo transfer, the embryo should already take root, and the uterus begin to grow. In the body of a woman there will be a hormonal reconstruction. Attachment of a fertilized egg occurs in 3-10 days after its transfer. Features of IVF do not allow you to rely on a strip test, so other methods of confirming a successful procedure are needed.

On the 21st day after the embryo transfer the doctor can already see the fetal egg, diagnose a successful pregnancy.

The first diagnosis using ultrasound is necessary to exclude the possibility of an ectopic fetus location or a dead pregnancy. In parallel, the doctor sometimes appoints ultrasound of the mammary glands, which is also important in studying the hormonal health of a woman who underwent hormone therapy.
