According to the Law of Ukraine, couples are accepted into the surrogacy program if a woman has:

• there is no uterus;
• deformed uterus or cervix, in which it is impossible to carry the child;
• incurable changes in the endometrium;
• serious diseases in which pregnancy threatens her health or life. Moreover, diseases do not affect the health of the unborn child;
• more than 4 unsuccessful IVF attempts (the embryos were of high quality, but the pregnancy did not occur).
