For us, as well as for the parents, the moment of farewell, though being joyful, still has some shades of sadness. Because during the program period they have become a part of our large VittoriaVita family.

"Dear Irina,
Tomorrow we are returning home after 8.5 weeks of staying in Kiev. We look at our child so often and think that we have succeeded. After nearly five years of wanting to have a baby, we have come to an end.
We thank you for your always good and joyful care, for answering all our questions, for your help in translation and much more.
From our first thoughts to try surrogacy, a little human was born - our daughter. And now we know that this is not a Ukrainian superstition, that heartburn during pregnancy means that a child has a lot of hair.
We are also grateful for life to our surrogate mother and are confident that she will take a permanent place in our family (though at a distance).
There is a bit of melancholy that we are leaving Ukraine tomorrow, but hopefully we will be back next year.
